ABOUT US

Former University of Georgia student and Georgia “Dawgs" football player Sam Velong of Oldsmar, Florida, invented and designed the revolutionary BugSlayer system. BugSlayer of St. Marys is proud to be the exclusive provider for Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida, introducing a state-of-the-art system that has transformed the quality of outdoor living for many in our area.

The BugSlayer automatic outdoor insect control system was developed with common sense, straightforward pest control principles.  Our goal is to effectively reduce the nuisance pest population; mosquitoes, sand gnats, aquatic midges, spiders and more from your outdoor areas.  The issue is one of Public Health that we take very seriously. This is our only business and we take it very seriously.  Your safety and our proven ability to eliminate your nuisance pest have allowed us to become a proven leader in our industry.

Our premise is simple.  If you had an indoor pest; such as a spiders, roaches or ants, you would call a licensed pest control company to eliminate the problem.  Their remedy would consist of spraying a proven insecticide agent that would eliminate the pest and give months of relief.  Because your pest is confined indoors and in a controlled environment this traditional method  works well.

Outdoor nuisance pests are also susceptible to insecticide treatments, however traditional applications won’t work.  The transient nature of the pest, and the lack of environmental control outdoors presents a different challenge.  You need daily application of treatments with an insecticide agent that does not build up a heavy residual toxicity.  Traditional, manned pest control treatments would become cost prohibitive. YOU NEED A BUGSLAYER AUTOMATIC SYSTEM.

We set your BugSlayer system to emit a mild insecticide spray, similar to the active ingredient in flee shampoo for pets, through strategically placed nozzles automatically 1-2 times per day.  The nozzles are located in areas where the bugs live and breed.  The chemical agent is usually sprayed automatically in the middle of the night when there is the least potential contact with people or pets.  Your safety is our utmost concern.  You control any additional spray applications with our BugSlayer remote control, on an as-needed basis as the system owner.
